Show Coverage: Mustangs & the 2007 SEMA Show
Well folks, the 2007 SEMA Show in Las Vegas is in full swing. This mega automotive-aftermarket products show features accessories galore, and then some. As one attendee told me, “I've never seen anything like it. I've been walking for three days and still haven't seen everything!” And yes, walking comes with the territory, but that's a small price to pay for all the aftermarket goodies on hand.
The Ford display at this year's SEMA Show features various Mustangs, old and new. Classic Design Concepts, LLC of Novi, Mich. had several Mustangs on display. Their Flashback package offers up a power-packed classic Mustang kit that had everyone looking for their cameras so they could take a picture.
In addition, a 1965 Classic Mustang, restored and modified for actor/racer Patrick Dempsey was on display. This black beauty won many show goers over.
A favorite, by far, however, was the 2008 V6 Mustang Appearance package on display. For an estimated $2,395, buyers can have Ford convert their basic 4.0L V6 into a sleek looking machine. Upgrades include 18-inch polished forged wheels, chrome billet grille insert, GT hood scoop, and special exhaust tips.
Check out our photos from the Show, and stay tuned for additional updates and photos throughout the week.
