A few days ago I came across an interesting article in the L.A. Times. It was one of those touching stories about a stolen Mustang that had been tracked down by the authorities. Okay, so the Mustang was stolen and found by the police. Happens all the time. How's this story any different? Well, turns out the car was stolen in May of 1970. That's right, it was stolen almost 38 years ago. The original owner, who is now 80, was reportedly thrilled to learn his honey-gold 1965 Ford Mustang had finally been found. Only, it's not honey gold anymore. What's even more interesting is where the car's been all these years. Of course, the current owner had no idea the vehicle had been stolen years ago. That is, until she contacted the police after noticing oddities with the Mustang's VIN tags.
