"Tracking for the Cure" Benefiting Susan G. Komen For the Cure
On Friday July 11th, the checkered flag at Thunderhill Park Raceway in Willows, Calif. will turn pink for a special "Tracking for the Cure" event. The event will give performance drivers a chance to see what their cars can do on the track. Best of all, a Warriors in Pink Mustang will serve as the pace car for the day.
In addition, those in attendance will be able to make a donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the opportunity to take a ride in a Hooters Winston Cup car, Ferrari F430, Ford GT, a 600 hp Z06, Ariel Atom, and more. The event will also feature two auctions. All proceeds from the event will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation which is the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives. If you haven't seen the Warriors in Pink Mustang up close, this would be a good opportunity to do so while supporting a worthy cause. For more info, check out the official event site.
