New KITT Mustang Revealed at Comic-Con 2008
NBC has unveiled their new KITT Mustang at Comic-Con 2008 in San Diego, Calif. The car, which will appear in NBC's Knight Rider series this Fall, is based on a Shelby GT500KR Mustang (although most folks would be hard pressed to make a connection based on the new design).
The new Attack Mode KITT features lambo doors, black tinted windows, a huge rear wing, and something on the hood that resembles a vacuum cleaner. Maybe it's just me, but I'm definitely not won over on the new design. Here's a look at the Old Attack KITT featured in the pilot and the New Attack KITT set to appear in the series this Fall. It's sleek and mean meets comic-book Mustang on steroids.
Knight Rider will premiere on NBC Wednesday September 24th at 8/7c.

That’s one weird looking car.
Except for the “vacuum cleaner” on the hood, I like the new KITT. Of course with its .5 inch ground clearance it’s wickedly impractical. No driveway ramps for this car.
