Susan Roush-McClenaghan Wins at the Mustang Drags
Susan Roush-McClenaghan, the daughter of performance legend Jack Roush, won her first race this past weekend at the NMCA Drag Racing Series held in Commerce, Ga. Roush-McClenaghan, who proudly races Ford Mustang drag cars, has been involved in competitive drag racing for the past three years. She even placed as a runner up on several occasions. Everything changed on Sunday when she took home her first trophy. Roush-McClenaghan beat out Jamie Rickman in the Open Comp class.
In a press release issued on Monday Roush-McClenaghan said, "The final round was very tough because I had to face off against Jamie who is one of the toughest guys in the NMCA series." She added, "It was so cool to get the win, but I really couldn’t be here without the help of so many people. I’ve been very fortunate to have so many people willing to give a hand and share their experience. I doubt that I would be as competitive as I have been in this short amount of time without everyone’s help."
