Hot Dogs, Fireworks, and Jack's New 435 Horsepower Pony Car
Now that the extended holiday weekend is behind me, I can look back with fond memories. I'm talking food on the grill, fireworks, and quality time behind the wheel of Roush's new 427R Mustang. Believe me, this will come in handy when I'm staring down a pile of paperwork come Wednesday afternoon!
Prior to the Fourth of July holiday, the good folks at ROUSH Performance gave me the keys to their new 2010 427R Mustang. The new 427R is based on the 2010 Mustang design, and features goodies such as a supercharged 4.6L V-8 engine capable of producing 435 hp and 400 lb.-ft. of torque. Talk about all-out performance. This car emits some serious rumble. It's also a world of fun to drive. That said, did the 427R put the new Shelby GT500 in a sleeper hold? If you recall, I spent some time in Shelby's new car a few months back. Read my full review.
