Cobra Jet Test Mule Pops a Serious Wheelie

Monday October 5, 2009

Cobra Jet Test MuleFrom the looks of it, Ford Racing seems to be making some serious progress with their FR500CJ Mustang program. The 2010 version of this drag strip racer, which is set to debut at the SEMA Show next month, should pack a serious punch. A 2008 test mule was recently filmed popping a wheelie at the Norwalk drag strip in Ohio. The car in the video was equipped with 10.5-inch tires and a modified C4 transmission, all to be featured on the 2010 model. We're talking an all-out display of power.

According to reports, the 2010's 5.4L aluminum V-8 engine will produce between 425 and 475 hp, depending on which package you opt for.
