Last week I was invited to take part in an engine build presented by the folks at Quaker State. Our team managed to build a new engine, from the ground up, in about 35 minutes. Talk about a fast track to engine building! The highlight of the event, which took place at The Wynn Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, was the debut of the company's newest motor oil, named Defy. This synthetic blend of motor oil is said to work well with older and used cars. It contains its own proprietary "zinc-booster", and is said to have dual attributes contributing to wear and oxidation control.
The oil will become available here in the United States in January. It will be offered in Canada next April. Read more.
