This week promoters of the upcoming the 2014 MAA 50th Anniversary Drive reported the event has broken the 100 registrants mark. Those currently signed up to make the drive next year are from 22 states and seven different countries. The route leaves Los Angeles, Calif. on April 10th, 2014 and arrives in Charlotte, North Carolina on April 16th, 2014.
"We fully expected a number of our core enthusiasts to sign up early", says Sam Haymart, coordinator of the MAA 50th Anniversary Drive. "To get this many entrants so quickly is a surprise, and shows that this may well be the most momentous MAA drive yet".
The drive is open to all Mustangs from 1964 ˝ to present and is planned out in segments that average 350 miles per day.
"The MAA 50th Anniversary Drive is an event that has been talked about since the day our 2009 event concluded, " adds Haymart. "We have listened to the enthusiasts who have been waiting for this event for five years and our early entry response shows that we are delivering an event people want". Read more.
