Looking for a performance clutch or just need to replace your existing system? Fidanza, the manufacturer of aluminum flywheels, clutches, cam gears, clutch kits, flex plates, CV shafts, and short throw shifters, now offers a performance clutch package for the following Mustangs: 1986-1995 5.0L, 1996-1998 4.6L Cobra , 1996-2000 4.6L GT.

The company says its Fidanza 1.0 Mustang Clutch (Part# 381840) has a holding capacity of up to 350 lb.-ft. torque to the wheels. The clutch assembly's pressure plate consists of a high clamp load unit that Fidanza says produces 2,400 lbs. of clamping force, compared to the 1,700 lbs. offered by the stock unit. In all, the system was designed so that engagement remains stock-like and is easy on the leg. In addition, the clutch disc is organic with a full Marcel and sprung hub. The clutch package includes a new throw-out bearing and pilot tool.

As for pricing, the package retails for $232.00, and is available through a wide variety of distributors.
