In August of 2008 I embarked on a road trip journey from Los Angeles, Calif. to the beautiful town of Park City, Utah located in the Rocky Mountains. My destination was the Mustang Club of America’s 2008 Grand National Show which was held August 29-31.

Along the way I stopped for a night in Las Vegas, Nev. where I spent quality time checking out the sights, playing the slots, and visiting the world of Carroll Shelby. In fact, while in town I ate at the newly opened Shelby Corner Café which is located a short distance from Shelby’s headquarters. I stopped there as well, although I arrived too early to take the daily tour.

In all, I experienced plenty of memorable sights in my journey across four states. I met many interesting people and made some new friends along the way.

The following is a day-by-day account of my Mustang Road trip to the 2008 Mustang Club of America’s Grand National in Park City, Utah.
