2008 Airtel Plaza Mustang Show

A Sunday of Mustangs in Van Nuys, Calif.

On Sunday July 20, 2008, the Mustang Owners Club of California (MOCC) hosted the 2008 Airtel Plaza Hotel Mustang and Ford car show. The weather was picture perfect as Mustang enthusiasts of all ages gathered for the event held right next to the airport in Van Nuys, Calif.

Highlights of the day included numerous raffles, show awards comprising over 74 different classes, and plenty of beautiful Mustangs. The event even featured a pony corral comprised of daily driver vehicles that were on hand to be viewed, but not judged.

There's no denying that car shows are a favorite pastime of mine. This show, like many others, brought out the best in the enthusiasts gathered there. As I walked the event looking at all the amazing rides, numerous owners and attendees talked with each other about the cars. Some reminisced about old times. Others told stories of future mods and ways they hope to make their Mustangs even better.
