On October 5, 2008 Mustangs of all generations converged upon the park adjacent to the historic Queen Mary cruise liner in Long Beach, Calif. The show, which was presented by the Beach Cities Mustang Club, is known to attract Mustang enthusiasts from all over Southern California. This year’s show was no different. In fact, in addition to the usual crowds, the show brought out close to 100 Saleen Mustangs as part of the first ever SaleenFest 2008.
Special guests included Chad McQueen, the son of "Bullitt" movie star Steve McQueen, as well as racers Dan Gurney and Parnelli Jones.
