The Men and Women Behind the Ford Mustang

Over the years, numerous men and women have helped to make the Ford Mustang the car it is today. After all, a car doesn’t survive 40 plus years in the marketplace without a creative genius working behind the scenes to make it all come together. These dedicated souls spent countless hours envisioning the Mustang’s future; working to make it better, working to make it more powerful, and working to create consumer appeal around the world.

Some of these people include Carroll Shelby, Steve Saleen, Lee Iacocca, and Donald Frey. Of course we can’t forget John Najjar, Bunkie Knudsen, Gale L. Halderman, John Coletti, or Hal Sperlich. Nor can we fail to mention the hard work of all the factory workers in places such as Dearborn, Michigan and Flat Rock, Michigan. Without their hard work, the Mustang would have never made its way into the driveways of consumers.

Although we couldn't possibly include them all, here you will learn about the men and women behind the success of the Ford Mustang: The Ford Mustang History Makers. Each of these people poured their heart and soul into the Ford Mustang, making the car what it is today. Next time you see a Ford Mustang on the street, remember the people behind the machine. There are many, and their contributions are countless. So without further ado, let's begin.
