How to Wash Your Mustang

If you plan to keep your Mustang's finish shiny and new, you’ll need to wash it on a regular basis.

I generally wash mine once a week and wax it once a month. That’s not to say you can’t wait a little longer between washes. I’d recommend washing, at minimum, once a month to stay on the safe side.

That said, remember to always remove bird droppings or other corrosives immediately from your vehicle’s exterior. They can cause damage to your paint in no time at all. Never wait until your next wash to deal with corrosives.
