Before You Begin

It’s a good idea to make sure you have everything you need before you wash your Mustang. Even though it’s a simple task, you want to make sure you do it correctly. Therefore, I’d recommend changing into some comfortable work clothes. Just make sure to avoid anything with zippers or sharp edges, as these might accidentally scratch your Mustang’s exterior.

I’d also recommend finding a place in the shade, preferably away from any trees with leaves, etc. Also, I’d advise against washing on windy days, as dirt will blow right back onto your clean pony car and make for a mess.

Finally, always think of your Mustang’s exterior as precious commodity that must be dealt with gently. Never use excessive force or pressure. Your Mustang will appreciate it, and you’ll thank yourself in the long run.

So roll up your windows and close all your doors. Also make sure your exhaust pipes and brakes have cooled down before you begin. You don’t want to burn yourself. Now it’s time to make your Pony car shine.
