Wash & Rinse the Rims, Exhaust, and Tires

The final point in the wash is the rims, exhaust, and tires. Always save these for last. For instance, tires often contain little pebbles, etc., which can scratch your paint job if you mix the dirt into your soap bucket. All the more reason to save them for last.

Wash these components, then lightly rinse. Try not to spray directly into the brake rotors or the exhaust. Remember to always wash in the order of: Top, sides, rims, exhaust pipes, tires.
