2008 Warriors in Pink Mustang

A Mustang with a Worthy Cause

In 2006 Ford launched its Warriors in Pink campaign aimed to promote the strength and courage it takes to deal with the everyday challenges of fighting breast cancer. In 2008, the company is offering a special-edition Mustang package honoring the Warriors in Pink initiative. Ford plans to donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of each Warriors in Pink Mustang to help fundraising efforts.

The 2008 Warriors in Pink Mustang package is available as an upgrade package for V6 Mustangs, either convertible or coupe. In all, Ford limited production of these special Mustangs to 2,500 units. In addition, vehicles that feature the Warriors in Pink package will automatically receive Ford’s popular Mustang Pony Package upgrade.

Exterior Speaks Aggressive

Exterior color offerings for the Warriors in Pink Mustang package include black, metallic silver, and performance white. All Warriors in Pink Mustangs will feature a pink ribbon and Pony fender badge with pink Mustang rocker tape striping to match.

Interior is all Performance

The Warriors in Pink stylings are prominent within the vehicle as well. For instance, this special-edition Mustang will feature an aluminum-spoke steering wheel, charcoal leather seats with pink stitching, and charcoal floor mats with pink ribbon and contrast stitching.

Availability and Pricing

As for availability, the 2008 Warriors in Pink Mustang became available for pre-order through Ford Dealerships in the summer of 2007. As for pricing, the package adds $1,795 to the price of the vehicle, but can only be ordered with the five-speed automatic, which adds another $1,250.
