These two packages are designed for 2005-2009 Mustang GT owners seeking to turn their car into a Shelby Mustang. Of all the new packages offered, this will most likely become one of the most popular. In a press release Shelby Automobiles said, “Daily, we, at Shelby Automobiles, Inc. field requests from Mustang GT owners looking to upgrade their Mustang to a Shelby GT. While we have never offered this package, it became clear our customer base was interested in injecting Shelby Performance into their ride. That time has finally arrived!” Badged the Shelby Supercharged and Shelby SR, these packages are said to significantly enhance the performance of any Mustang GT. The Shelby SR package is designed to offer cutting edge performance on or off the track, is 50 state emissions legal, and can be utilized as a daily driver with an optional street tire package. Total power output is expected to be in the 550 hp range thanks to the kit’s supercharger. The SR Package can only be installed at the Las Vegas Facility. Pricing starts at $19,599 for the base package and $31,499 for the SR package.
