First off, Happy New Year fellow Mustangers! I hope everyone had a great holiday. Now that the holidays are behind us, we can look forward to the 39th annual Barrett-Jackson auto auction in Scottsdale.

In less than two weeks you can expect to see some amazing Mustangs roll across the block. One such ride, a one-of-a-kind Silver and Black 2008 Shelby GT500KR (Lot#1252.2), is sure to generate some attention. If that doesn't do it for you, how about the first production 1966 Shelby GT350 (Lot#1302)? That's right, Serial #SFM6S002 will be sold to one lucky bidder. Then there's the 2008 FR500S Mustang (Lot#1027) I told you about a few weeks back. Proceeds from the sale of this car will go to benefit the St. Jude Children's Hospital.

The event, which takes place January 18-24, will once again air on the SPEED Channel for those of you unable to make the trip. For a complete listing of all the cars up for auction, visit the Official Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale site.
