You'll find clubs dedicated to classic Mustangs, late-model Mustangs, convertible Mustangs, even Shelby Mustangs. Shelby Owners of America, Inc., for instance, is one such club dedicated to owners of the Shelby Mustang. And what about those of you looking to join a club outside the United States? Well, you're in luck. Clubs can be found all across the world in places such as England, France, Netherlands, Germany, New Zealand, Australia, Mexico, and South Africa.
So, how do you go about finding a club? The first, and by far most popular way, is to attend a local Mustang show in your neighborhood. Mustang shows are often organized by Mustang Clubs, and those that aren't almost always feature club members as attendees. Find a show in your local area and introduce yourself to club members. Strike up a conversation about your favorite pony car. Then ask what is required to become a member. Most clubs will invite you to attend one of their meetings so you can learn more. Other clubs will offer to sign you up on the spot.
